well that logical illogical
your class3 stops to fight when there are no more enemies left in THEIR class(which happened when the mothership blasted into pieces ...
it sounds illogical as it isnt understandable why the cycplops shouldnt fire on anyway... but the spacebattle is quite confusing of course so there are battlecommanders for every class (those guys out of good families but with no brain are mostly taken for this job due to political necessarities). the battle commander of class3 ends the battle when his task(destroying all ships in his class) is done .. as battlecommander of clases are no battlecommanders of the fleet they are not very bright but quite arrogant and so they dont see the point in waiting for some sophisticated ships( whiches function they are not capable to understand) to do their duty...
captains of missle launcher e.g. have the same problem....
so the other two cyclopses were taken by the "we are ready"-command of the battlecommander of class and are not allowed to shoot....
(actually the real cause of course is a strategical ship.... you must plan a class so large that it will win the class battle but so small that all sophisticated ships (or most of them) can fire....- otherwise some ships are too easy to play and the battle isnt balanced))
--> but i ask myself why you hadnt destroyed at least 400 fighters with the 4 cyclopses...
if u copied the battlereport right(???) there should be a PROGRAMM BUG and fighters should have been destroyed by the 4 cyclopses....
ADMIN:
BTW.: THE CYCPLOPS IS STILL CALLED A REVENGE CRUISER IN THE BATTLEREPORT
I hoped i could help u and everybody with this ???
peace of oz

But like peace I can't understand why the cyclopses are called revenge cruisers in the brs. |

Peace :
The revenge-cruiser (cyclops) is not a retro-fighter, but an (ordinary) class3-ship.
So because Untouchable also had a class2 fleet, his class3 didn't engaged the enemies class1.

its like a missle launcher but vice versa...
it shoots from one class to another...
but as it shoots from a higher class to a lower class it shoots retro (backwards)...
(thats why it was planned as a revenge cruiser... it shoots enemie class1 one ships but in class3 AFTER the class1 battle...) |

Ah I see! So what's the problem?
It is not a "retro-ship". It was activated against the mothership but when this was destroyed two cyclops which didn't shoot till now couldn't take their turn....

You have to imagine, that the commanders of the cyclopes don't know what sort of ship they're in. They only know that it's a class 3 ship and how to activate it (maybe by pressing a button). Now they see the ms and want to shoot at it. They press the button and what happens? 100 class one are destroyed. Now the cruisers take their turn and destroy the ms and the commanders of the other cyclopes don't shoot anymore, because they feel as if they're in a cruiser... |
