What I would like to know, in all these accusations of noob bashing, what makes a noob no longer a noob? A fast rising rel score? 1 month in?, 6 months in? etc? Seems some become vets within weeks according to the rel scoring, while others are "perma-noobs" a few of which somehow make it into top rankings within a few days of start-up only to crumble as soon as the 1st vet takes notice and hits to see just how good this high ranking noob really is???
....actually we know the answers but, still need clarification on what a noob is....
Personally IMHO, once one enters the top 10 or top rel scoring then they need to take a few "lessons" from thier competitors in the rankings. _________________

Concurrence. Top 10 is open target regardless of time played. |

you must not be a vet for that. All what you must know is who the most of the ship works, the main battle system things and how you can defend against a swank .... and enough noob targets... that is all.
i did it that way..
greetz regiment
btw. i haven´t feel any competition in the top 10... only one attak from lady but that was all.
edit: Destroyed FG Bases: 4 |

yes. it was my attack on you... but i don´t know if it was a success for u or for me.
"to be a noob" is just a synonym. if you get a part of the game, if you play in an active alliance and if you have friends who help you while you are getting attacks by vets, than you lose the status of NOOB. that is my definition.
of course you have to know how the most ships work. but i cannot beliefe that everybody know it from every ship.
edit: destroyed NS bases: 6 or 7 (ask MJ as NS member) |

when i am remember right i win 100 points but only with my da ... you crush my eagel/wasps.
no not all i mean the basic race ships... exampel:
Kazuuula: Eagel/wasps, gunships, major rec. intercepter and emps
when you know how to use these ships no start fleet or newb can beat you really... with basic battle system knowledge... _________________ Captured Guest acc ...

Noobs are the ones who are in their first EVO , when in second EVO they should know enough to put up some resistance . ( of course some will never learn and stay a noob forever ) Use first EVO to find out what ships do and what your enemy does . try to figure out what is the best set up for a cerain attack or what is the best counter against a cerain fleet . so most important thing is have much battles as possible and learn from these battles also ask Newb helpers what to do but watchout not all newbhelpers know the game for themselve that good. _________________ Greetz Connor

wait..? so if you graph the stat NS vs FG does that mean that NS won the war? I need someone to graph their stats and then tell me so I or we know who won the war. Because what I got from the graph was FG finishing with more of a beat down |

The big drops in the stats graph are when people evo out.
They take all their points with them.
It's not really a good measure of combat effectiveness.
Because you can also have one person with a minus score, but still have a high score, from everyone else.
The only thing we really have to go on in this case was FG saying they would take NS to zero, which didn't happen.
Who lost? Hard to say. |

it was fun and FG had a better organisation. the last days NS did more action and so the war was more fun with losse on both sides not only on NS side.
so i think at the beginning the was a big advantage for FG with very much points for them and the points from NS go down very fast (but not reached zero). at the last days, there was nearly no winner i think. so FG did nt reached the aim, making NS to zero, but all in all FG got very much more points from NS.
at least it was fun and that is the goal.
thank you for listening |

it doesn't matter who dominated when, how much outnumbered someone was, who promised what etc. it's all gossip.
FG won by points therefore won by st rules ergo there can be no further discussion about the "real" winner.
congrats. |
