Jam started an interpretation of the complete battlereport data, that we could provide for you, where you see ecvery single shot one by one.
but it was not gone very far, just some tests.
we could provide these data agaion, if someone wants to program flash animations from it.
i think another thing that would be nice, would be a flash-fleet-navigation.
@liderant: do you know how to make boxes that you click on and drag them into another fleet? you need a lot of actionscript |

the most important thing about it: it should help to understand the battle report quickly .
moving ships wouldn't solve this thing i guess.... i am not sure , i never had a good idea about it .. a fast and easy to understand animation ... |

@spacetrace:
i was talking about a fleet-navigation flash control. not the battle visualisation
@liderant: yes, moving them in blocks would be nice. we thought about a full-screen-control window, where you can grab some ships from one fleet and move them in another. after you have finished the complete sorting, you press on "do it now", and then the window closes and the data is transfered to the original fleet-navigation (in the right spacetrace frame) |

but isnt it kind of odd to grab 1000 fighters one by one to move them from one fleet to the other? There should be like a counter that tells you how many ships you are moving.
i must sit down to think how to make the page to recognize that the ships are moved from one fleet to the other and how to grab many ships at once.
i personally like how it is now. |

with the new extended fleet navigation window it is possible now to move all ships in one go, so there is nothing in the way anymore for a new flash-navigation |
