i had the suggestion, to build 5 alliances
(one for each race)....
-> every one is forced to go there
( the old alliances could rebuild if they dont like the new alliance)
-> no player could join an alliance of other race then his race !
-> as long as beeing in the racial alliance a player gets 1000 pts (which is also added in the personal top ten) but loses this points when leaving the racial alliances ... regaining of rejoining a.s.o....
(thats because otherwise only the players with negative points will be leftover in the racial alliance so that those would have a rather deep minus)
(maybe the races which are played by fewer players (see ship statistics) gain a bigger bonus to make it fair )
-> there is a leader votet so that players (spies from "free" alliances) could be kept out...
--> i hope that this would lead to the following:
1) there are five big alliances + the "free alliances" which are all strong....
2) newbees are put into "their" racial alliance so they have a platform.
this is just a suggestion to be further discussed...
1) its a deep cut into beeing politics ... but not to deep as the old alliances a free to rejoin under their old name ...
2) i dont know whether its programmable...

it's as programmable as the "newbee ally" i think..
but i also think a newbee ally would be a better conclusion because otherwise playas of races that are not chosen that much have a disadvantage, and i don't know wether anyone wants to play in an ally with only ONE race... there is no possibilty of mixing the races up and use all their advantages |

well i suggested that minor taken races got more bonus points maybe...
yes the tactical options are fewer.. but maybe there is more identification ? - i allways hated to attack nanite players ... 
--> and i would have hated it even more with the new racial statistic in the ship statistic
and u can decide to have a free allince with players of your (and their  choice...
--> well i know my idea is not the best, but i think it might be better than artificially breaking existing alliances....
--> but i still think other alliances will be coming...
-> i also think players with fewer points will be taken by their ambition if every player gets a little box with his current position in the absolute highscore (it only a personal information of course)...so they would maybe try to become a top100 player when beeing on place 117 allready... ??

very very good idea... although i am in top 10 list it might be an incentive for playas with low points to higher there points...
but there is another big problem..
i fighted 3 times, and got 5200 points with it and i am in top 10 now ... that's much too easy .. how could we change that ?

I think it's a good deal to give the less taken races more points, but don't you think 1000 points is too much in general.
The idea with the race-alliance is very good!!!
But don't you think that these alliances would have maybe to many advantages, e.g. the Nanites have many special weapons compared with the Humans or others.
But everything would show while playing!
