I have a windows. Ive had it for 3 years and now suddenly it tells me i have illegal software (its so much cheaper) and that i can not get the new security updates from microsoft. It has a button that says ''switch over to legit software'' heres the catch. ''legit'' sofware costs 120 euro's. So im just going to keep using this version. Btw, I dont like macs.

Well, i got your Linux downloaded (took me well over an hour...) and it says me to reboot my PC and then it will automaticly start up. It does not, but i use a virtual CD drive... Also, i tried the SETUP-->Boot Screen but it didn't work there. Can i use Nero to burn it on a CD/DVD? And whre can i download Beryl?

you need to burn a cd and reboot from that cd.

beryl needs an installed system to be run. It would take a little configuration wrok too, but not oo much.

Don't you need a good graphics card to run on that?

Well this is my old computer and I'm running on:

2.6GH processor
1024mb memory
128DDR ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
120GB hard drive

Good enough for Linux and Beryl?

sure, i guess mine is a 1.4 MHz , 1024 memory, geforce4 which is working fine.

ati card may be a bit more complicated to install, but newer cards are better supproted.

gnu/linux is an operating system.

ubuntu, suse, redhat etc. are different flavors of that operating system

kde, gnome, fluxbox are the different desktop enviroments you can choose

beryl is a 3d desktop solution which will work with most desktop enviroments.

my system , you saw in the video is a ubuntu-linux with gnome as the desktop enviroment + beryl.
